Straight Eight, the best in soul and R&B!
A huge thank you to you and the band for giving us such splendid music to entertain us on Sunday evening. You got everyone in the party spirit, and many of them have said how much they enjoyed listening (and dancing) to you. Everyone had a great time and we were delighted that you could play for us.
I loved every minute too. Saw you for the first time at last year’s Retro Festival, and thought you were amazing, so we made sure we saw you again this year, and you were every bit as good. Best band of the weekend for us x
Many thanks to Straight Eight for performing at the Saltburn Howzat Music Festival. The Band lifted the roof off our venue at the end of the day. What a party atmosphere was created right from the very first note everybody was up dancing and it never eased off till the very last note. I recommend Straight Eight for anyone who wants rocking soulful tunes, great Band. Party with Straight Eight!!
The sound, the energy, the colour & the talent were incredible. The songs played during the set were brilliant & everyone was singing & dancing to every song. The vocals were so soulful, the brass section had a blast & the whole band were ready to party! Ended up dripping wet I danced so much.
Wow, what a brilliant gig at Retro Festival! They got everyone moving from start to finish with epic versions of some great songs. They really looked like they were were enjoying themselves on stage too and their enthusiasm was contagious. If you’re looking to go and see a feel good, uplifting band, check them out. Top entertainment, highly recommended.
Everyone was dancing, the whole tent was moving and singing along. There were a lot of them and all in bright colours. Their lead singer was very soulful and the girl singer was awesome! Some brilliant versions of stax classics and also things like Minnie the Moocher. Don’t miss these guys!
